Is it possible to disable the TPMS system? I want to get new wheels and don't want to buy or transfer sensors or see the TPMS light on the dash.

new sensors are 50 bucks on eBay.
Might be a way to disable with a tuner.....but the 50 bucks was worth it for me when I swapped my new wheels on.

thats all they cost??? I remember when I had my 07 GTI those sensors where $150 each

You can not disable TPMS on any vehicle

Correct thanks to Firestone and all their problems they had especially on explorer they invented these things to make our lives "safer." Don't run crap tires and we all would have been fine haha

I got a second set of wheels and I true the whole putting them in a pipe filling the pipe. That didnt work. So I bought a second set put me in the new wheels. Also got them off eBay. It's so nice to have them in, and know your tire pressure

With the Bully Dog I know you can adjust the pressure range and I thought you could disable it. I know it’s illegal but so is fog lights on with high beams and you can do that with the tuner.

I just confirmed that you can disable the TPMS with the Bully Dog.
