Are you talking about removing the crank pully and installing an underdrive pully ?

Just go rent a pulley puller from AutoZone or Orielly's.

The one for other chrylsers Autozone gave me was a pain to get in the 3 holes and actually ended up chipping balancer.Ended up using a old 3 bolt style and putting washers and nuts on back side of pulley(kind of hard with my big hands),pulley popped right off.

And a installed picture..Truck seems to rev faster after pulley and pick up some mid to top end.Now if it's worth the $400 price tag..that's debatable.

09-12 trucks use a 77" 6 rib and the 13-up use a 71.5" 6 rib.

How does it affect the charging system? I understand these spin everything at a different speed. I had underdrive pulleys on an old car I had. At a traffic light the cars lights would noticeably dim at an idle and brighten up when the rpms are up.

With a tuner you could raise idle rpms yeah?

I have been running one on my 2011 crew cab for almost 2 years now with no issues. As long as you don't have off road lights all over the truck and a 5000w stereo, you will be fine.
