If I swap in a premium cluster into my 2016 black express, will it void my warranty as well as my extended warranty? Tempted to do the swap but my warranty is important to me.

Yes, it will void the warranty on your factory cluster.

Talked with my service manager about it. He liked mine after I swapped it. Only thing he said was if I had issues with it I was on my own.

There's no way the rest of the truck warranty can be voided unless the swap caused the problem.

The way the cluster is tied to the VIN is it is on the trucks build sheet. The reason we are all buying clusters through third parties instead of dealers is because they can only install what is tied to your VIN, which is the basic cluster.
