Wanna get an tougher axle to handle more as an pro-street application. Anybody done this yet? I recently went to my local track and blew the rear out doing an burnout to warm the slicks I have for the track.

How many miles were on the truck when it happened. The axles are pretty hardy, a burn out shouldn't have blown it if it was okay. Unless you have tons of hp.

What have you done to the engine and how many miles? Like he said, should've been able to handle a burnout unless it was getting ready to grenade anyway, then you just hastened it's departure. If you're hell bent on a replacement, Dana 60 from an SRT quad cab will bolt in, you'll just need an altered driveshaft. This will also change your rear ratio instantly, might not be a huge deal unless you have a 4x4.

I'm curious to know as well, cause the stock 9.25 can take some abuse
