are the upper ball joints serviceable on these things or does the whole UCA have to be changed to one that is. I heave heard yes and no. some sites you can find the uppers sold out of the arm, but don't say if the factory arms can be used. clarification would be most appreciated. :)

Yup, the upper control arm and ball joint are one piece. You could replace them with new ones that are serviceable and have grease zerk fittings.

I had Moog's on my 90' CRX worked perfectly. Also have them on my ram now. I love that they have the grease fittings, so I can regrease them and they'll hopefully last longer. Never had a problem with mine.

$450? For just the ball joint itself??????? **** that! I bought my Moog upper control arms for like $50 bucks each, and they work just fine on my 4x4!

I need to replace mine, prior to installing my suspension lift, as well as the tie rods. We should talk to Duane...see if he can get a gb.

They are actually for the 1500 Mega cab, which is the same suspension as the HD's. Damnit! I'd buy a set...idk about the price, I just need a bullet proof suspension!

No way i would pay that much for BJ unless I was sponsored and didnt have to pay it myself. Go buy your BJs from Ebay or RockAuto IMO

Dan, don't replace it prior to the lift. That makes no sense. replace it while you're doing the lift and save some labor cost.
