I have a 2007 Ram 2500 5.7L Hemi 4x4. My problem is I am having a squealing noise coming from the front end. It sounded like the driver front wheel bearing so I had both sides replaced.....didn't work. It only starts making noise after about 15 minutes of driving and gets louder after that. Its definitely something in the drive train. It's almost like a 'whistling' noise.

Any ideas?? I'm heading up hunting in two days and I don't want to be stranded.

Thanks for the help

Check/change the front diff oil? Does it change in 4wd or 2wd? I'm thinking axle bearings.

I checked the fluid in the front axle and its really clear and looks new. Would synthetic diff oil help if I change it? I don't have time to put it in the shop before my trip. It does change into 4WD easily.....
