I don't wanna :beatdeadhorse5:, but I've searched the forum and all over other forums and I'm not getting a clear enough answer. I had my passenger mirror stop heating about a year ago and a few months after the driver did the same. I pulled the glass on both sides and I get 12.5V ON and 0V OFF so I'm getting power like I should, I have a hidden CEL that says defrost open circuit.

My question is how likely is it that the heating element went out on both? Should I be looking somewhere else or should I just get new glass?

Any help is appreciated...

If they both failed at the same time then I would suspect a problem with the control circuit. Quitting one at a time is likely caused by failed defrost circuit in the glass. It is a simple circuit. Just power and ground at the mirror. If you have that, replace the glass.
