Help!!!

Parked on a hill today, and went to set the e brake, pedal sank to the floor with almost no resistance, would not hold the truck still in neutral, and wen i released the pedal, the light on my dash board is still on and chiming, help please i dont wana drive it like this

check your e-brake cable. might have snapped, or come loose.

were is the cable located, and i just checks for a burst line and there is no fluid

Emergency brake cable is that, just a cable. You wont see any fluid.

It travels under the truck to the on the drivers side frame to the rear drivers side brake where it spilts to the passenger side wheels.

thanks guys, the cable is in one piece, its just seems like there should be some sorta resistance when using the e brake, i tried steppn on it and releasin it a few times and finaly got the light to go off

spray it with some good lube to free it all up. something might have stretched
