The key trick, on, off, on, off, on, quickly will tell the computers to display the error codes in the odometer window. When you do this, make sure to have a piece of paper and pen ready. If there are no codes you will see a PdOnE and an EdOnE and they will look like this. The key trick does work on most Chrysler products, yet those before 2001 it may only show the P codes and not the E codes. I am not sure if the key trick will work on other makes of vehicles.
