For what it's worth. The cost to repair a dent, or any paint/body work at all is going to vary greatly from location to location and shop to shop. If the dent can be repaired through PDR (paintless dent repair) then it is normally the less expensive route to take. But generally, although PDR's work great, they are normally not 100%.

Yeah, I don't think thats gonna be fixable with PDR...gonna take some cutting, welding to repair that. Looks like it goes the whole length of the tail light?

well you have a couple options. the 1st one is gonna be the easiest but probly also the most exspensive and that is to have the whoel bedside skin replaced and painted to match.

The 2nd one would to be the hardest one and require alot of bodywork involving a stud gun, slide hammer, and some body filler to get it fully smooth. With the amount of work here this might actually cost more to fix.

hows the rest of the truck look? Also what size motor? 2 or 4 door? If you do get it and get it fixed instead of having a body shop replace the tails you can just get a set off led tails off ebay and same some coil and get some better looking tails at the same time.

its a 4 door ram 2500 hemi. everything else looks really good its just the dent thats there.. I was going to put led tails in it anyway so yea that would be good I would just replace the tails on my own anyway.
I just need to get a good idea of the cost to fix

yea i was thinking if i could get it for 11k that will be low enough where i could get a good price and be able to get the truck fixed and not be over paying.. I have been looking for a 2500 in black in this price rage 14k is my max. But like i said if its gona cost me 2k to get that dent fixed im not sure its going to be worth it. 1000-1500k i think it would be do-able

you dont have to replace the sheet metal. my wifes truck got a similar dent a few years ago. and good bodyman could pull and reshape that dent in the box with no problem. hammer and dolly baby, a little body filler and a whole lot of blocking and sanding and she will me as good as new. just ask around your area for the best bodyman.
