Hello everyone,
I am looking for some help with my 2004 Dodge ram 1500 Quad with 5.7 Hemi. I am getting 2 codes. Po 171 and PO172. Lean and Rich on bank one.
Doesn't make sense to me. I have replaced the IAT and the MAF sensors. Reset the computer. The codes are gone for a while but always come back on.

Any Ideas?

Rick

If it's throwing both the lean, and rich codes for that bank, then I agree about checking the front o2 sensor output.

It's probably going to either be that or a sticking fuel injector.

Vacuum leaks can also throw these codes.
