Ram Year

2004 ram 1500 slt 2 wheel drive 104,290 miles.

January 1st 2015 I replaced upper and lower ball joins.
May 15th 2015 replaced front passage side wheel bearing hub. (And alternator)

Sense the new wheel bearing it has been running very smooth, like new.
Which brings me to June 9th 2015, after driving around town at least 45 minutes of driving, I took a somewhat sharp left turn into a gas station and my steering just gave out. The only way I could turn the wheel was to have the truck moving as I turned the wheel.

Checked the power steering fluid, it wasnt empty, but it could have used some more, so I filled it up. It helped but not very much.

Now the truck drives smooth still but turning at a stopped position is near impossible. How do I tell if it's the power steering pump or a rack and pinion as that's the main thing that I'm finding in my searches online.
Thank you in advanc for any and all answers or suggestions. This is my first post on the fourms so I hope I provided enough information.
