Yeah, I saw that disclaimer Greg.... Thats how I got the idea of cutting the studs, haha. I ain't that smart.... yet. :D

And I understand what you're saying about measuring up how much stud to cut/needs to be cut.

So..... hypothetically speaking..... if this is the answer (shortening the original studs), do I even have the correct spacers(adapters)? Do those numbers I took a pic of mean anything?

One more concern. Suppose I do have everything right..... The studs that are pressed in the spacer are significantly smaller (thinner) than the ones on the hub. I mean, the stock lugnut slides on and off the new stud freely. Is this something to be really concerned about? Obviously, it is, but to what degree is what I think Im asking.....

Thanks again....

Bear,
Here is my 2 cents. I wouldn't use those spacers, they are not the quality you want on your truck. Your studs are 9/16"-18, about 2.330 inch long. the studs on your adapters are 1/2"-?. Depending on how much spacing you want. I would go with extended wheel studs with a slip on spacer or an off road spacer built to take abuse. How much clearance are you looking to add? Good luck....

Edit: Maybe something like this. I would talk with a off road shop to get a recommendation. There a Jeep adapter that is also on 5.5 BHC and has 1/2" studs.
