Did you leave the nut in and hit the knuckle? If you hit the O around the pressed in tie rod, the vibrations usually pop loose the rod end.

Sorry for not replying. I was beating the heck out of it. Finally got it with about 40 consecutive whacks.. my problem is I don't have a BFH or any specialized tools.

A BFH is a must... Make a Home Depot run, you will need one again.

What should I torque these at? Can't find any recommendation anywhere... For upper ball joints either
