Hey Boys,
So my truck has been having a little alarm problem. At random times the trucks alarm will go off and I'm not sure why. Anytime a car comes down the road with the hair dryer muffler or a Truck with a loud muffler come down the block it would go off. Not always but even the truck would beep twice and the alarm wont go off. I need a solution to this problem if anyone knows. I've switched the key transmitter and it still happens. Other than that i'm not sure what to do.

Thanks for the Help

I watched this happen in San Diego at the beach. A little T Bucket with basically straight pipes was whipping around and barking the tires a little and was being followed by the parked cars alarms going off.
Apparently your shock sensitively is set too low for your street.

Shock Sensitively? any idea on how to fix it or Id have to bring it to the dealer?

Most alarms have a shock setting, if you slap a fender or window I assume yours will go off. You'll have to find out how to adjust yours.

Update I've noticed that my truck alarm goes off at the same time every night. Is there a way to reset the car alarm so it won't go off at 130 in the morning. A factory reset or something like that

What time do the bars close in your area? I don't think there is a timer involved.

Around 2/3am. But I don't live close to any bars. Maybe it goes back to that Nissan truck that's heavily modded coming down my block around 130. I didn't just recently get my truck leveled. Maybe that has something to do with the shock sensor you were talking about before.
