how difficult, and ballpark figures for major pieces for swapping 06 CTD and A/T with transfer case assrmbly into 01 Ram 3500 dually 4x4 with V10 and 47re trans?

In most scenarios it's cheaper to buy the truck with engine you want in it, then it is to motor swap.
You'll pretty much need a donor truck to get all of the electronics working. Plus you'll have to have an entire fuel system off the diesel, including gas tank and pump.

^^^What he said. Not to mention what you'll need to do to make the gauge cluster work or the work required to retrofit in one that does. Prob need a custom harness.
