Hey guys. So my 35"s are just about worn out and idt i can make it through the winter with them the way they are. Since theres no way I can afford brand new tires, ive been on the hunt for a nice set of used 33s or 35s. I did just find a set of 285/75/15. The kid said he had em on his 99 Ram 1500, so the bolt pattern will def work. But my concern is will the 15" rims clear around the brake/hub? Ive heard that they rub when you drive the truck so i just need a few guys to tell me how theyd fit...

I know you can't run anything smaller than a 16" rim on the 3rd gens without grinding on the caliper. If no one has answered you by the morning, I'll try to tale some pics of the clearance between my caliper and rim

lol well mine are a really offset wheel so that might help if you get an offset
I guess if the kid had em on his truck they should be fine lol and if they dont fit, i might be able to do wheel spacers, idk. Im also not sure how my truck would look with smaller tires. I mean i have 35"s and a 5" lift now, so 33"s might look kinda dumb and too small lol

i saw a guy yesterday running 35x12.50x15's on his 98, no lift, actually got me out of my truck to come look at his and he asked my why his brand new 35's were being chewed up.
they were rubbing on the fender and the tires were ruined. but the rims fit great.

Thanks guys! I think im gonna see about gettin these tires. Hes askin $325 for a set of four Peerless Widetrack Baja's 33x12.50x15 with according to the ad "11/32" of tread, on 15" rims and center caps..they look like the same rims I have on my truck now, just 15" instead of my 16". He wanted them gone by the weekend, so i might be able to get somewhat of a good deal.

They should fit but if they rub just grind an 1/8 inch of the back of the caliper and they will definately fit
