I had to replace the transmission pan on my 1999 1500 4x4. It was leaking when I got it and when I went to replace the filter and gasket, I couldn't get it to seal up correctly. Turns out the pan was warped, I couldn't get it straight enough to seal up so I ordered a new one.

The part I replaced it with was a Dorman 265-827. It is .5" deeper than the original pan and has a drain plug. It's a decent quality piece and it only ran me $44.

OK here are some pics. The best I could take. The plug setup that came in the pan is welded in and sits about 1/8" into the inside of the pan so it gives you a pretty good drain but won't come a hundred percent empty. It is a half inch deeper than the stock pan.

Looks good man! That drain plug is a nice set-up, will make fluid changes much easier!

Hmmm, nice pan.
May have to get me one eventually.
You got this off Rockauto, right?

I got it from an ebay vendor with free shipping, can't remember which vendor though. The pan is widely available at a number of places.
