On my 97 1500 truck the ABS and brake lights are on at the same time is there a trick or anyway to find out the code without using a scanner

try the speed sensor in rear diff, then the one in the tranny if the first doesn't fix it. I happened to do both and it hasnt fixed mine on my 99 2500 5.9l v8
