So I was taking apart the front brakes on my 01 Ram 2500. They were pretty rusty and it was sticking a bit. I discovered the caliper bolt was stuck to the sleeve. Is it necessary for the bolt to slide in the sleeve? Should I be replacing it as well?

There were other issues with the brakes as well, but I think I have it figured out.

They don't have to but it's nice if they do, some are pinned in to limit movement. If you are close to Sicamous, BC I have a set here you can have they are for the 8800 gvw brakes.

Good to know, thanks. I'd take you up on the offer but I'm in the lower mainland.
Cheers
