Bulldog Security

Anyone know anything about these? I had my lower column panel off this afternoon and noticed this black box screwed to the dash frame work. Moved some of the wires away and it read Bulldog Security. Have no idea what its for, what its even hooked up too and I have no key fob for it. Hell I don't even have a key fob for the factory keyless entry lol.

hmm, maybe a remote start system? I know Bulldog makes those.

Maybe try getting a part number off and doing a search for that?

Thats just it, I removed the box and carefully turned it all around as all the wires are hooked to it and I couldn't need any part number on it at all.

Hmm. Do you have any good sudio shops around there that do security system or remote start installs? You could try swinging it by one of them and asking if they can give you a little info on it

Yeah I had already planned on doing that tomorrow. I could also try calling Bulldog to see if they can give me an answer.

Just went back out and looked since I still have that panel pulled off. And the only thing I can find is the word DELUXE on the back.

Just a quick search makes me think it's part of one of their remote start systems. I looked through their website and those are the only systems they have with a "Deluxe" option

Yep, all Deluxe models that go with remote start. Think I'll just give the company a call in the morning and see what they have to say.

I had a bulldog remote start on a car I had once. no complaints.
