Leveling kit and 315's are goin on the truck tomorrow morning and my cutout from Kenneth should be here by Friday. I'm ordering a set of shorty headers in the next month or so along with a magnaflow cat. Question is, should I go ahead and get the cutout and cat welded in now or just wait and do it all at once? Would I run into any issues with them now or am I getting ahead of myself with the cat and cutout?

Wait to have it done all at once, if you do it now, they will have to cut the cat back off and weld it on again to the new headers. Aside from the normal O2 issues when you use aftermarket cats you wont have any problems, but its best to just wait until you have everything to get the shop to weld, that way it all gets done once and you only pay labor once.

That's what I'll do. I just get excited and hate having mods sitting around collecting dust in the garage lol. Any suggestions on where I should get the cutout welded in at?

I say a good friend should do it, Or come to ohio and I will have my guy do it for ya. He could redo your whole exhaust for ya. lol

We need pics and review of the 315 and level when you get them done. I wanna make sure I can stuff 315 in there. Leaning to a 305 so I have some flex.

I just got back from dropping the truck off at the shop for the level and tires mounted/balanced. They said it should be done by 2 so hopefully I'll be able to pick it up on my lunch break. If so, I should have just enough time to snap a couple pics.

And for the cutout, I wasn't asking where I should take it lol. I wanted to know where on the exhaust I should have it put

Finally got her back. Might need an inch block in the back to get it leveled but I'll give it a week or so to see if it settles down any

Looks good Mark, like you said if the front dont settle alill then toss a 1 inch block in the back, or a helper spring. My summit cut out that just got taken out was right after the y so I didnt have to mess with the O2 senors at the moment.

wow man that looks great, hopefully that front will settle down for you

if you have to lift it i would not shack the blocks, replace with a 4in block or better the AAL extra leaf, also in ebay they sell 2in lift shackes

It doesn't have any lift in the rear at all. As of right now, the front sits 1 1/2" higher than the rear and the longer shocks in the front could settle up to an inch ( so says the manufacturer)

If it stays that way, I'll throw a 1" block under it and be done till I put a full suspension lift on it.

Couple more pics

Stacked blocks are definitely not happening under my truck. I've seen too many people break stuff because they had blocked stacked on top of one another and one or more of them fell out

^^^^True story

I don't have any lift in the rear on mine and my level has been on almost 8 months and still the same height. 1 1/2 higher in the front.

For me no change. still sits the same. Wheels aren't off the ground or anything. The front springs still compress and everything is normal. Just sits 1/ 1/2 higher in the front compared to the back.
