I'm stumped...Removing the emergency brake cable from my 2000 Ram 1500 4X4 & found the spring at the end of the cable, inside the brake drum area is too big in diameter to pull through the backing plate ???? - Don't want to cut & destroy the end of the cable as I want to reuse it....anyone run across this before? Thanks
