I noticed the other day finally got warm enough to roll window down and I noticed a sqeeling from the front sounds like driver side it does it whole time while driving it sounds like brakes but hitting the brakes doesn't affect the sound or make noise worse any idea? I don't wanna replace brakes if it's not it just don't know what else

It could be the Unit bearing/wheel bearing is on it's way out. Jack the truck up on that side grab the tire and see if it has any side to side or top to bottom movement in it.

I know there is some play. Side to side but I was gonna wait till
I could afford to buy both till I replaced. I was wondering if the brakes could just be rubbing rotor constantly and sqeeking but seems like it would get worse when I hit brakes or stop the noise one

If it doesn't change with the brake pedal, it isn't the brakes. Sorry.

Are the bearing on the 4wd press in or bolt on? Trying to figure if I can do it myself

Took off the wheel brakes and rotors good. Hub is bad, needs upper ball joint. Can you replace the u joint on axle shaft? And what is the bearing or seal called were the axle shaft goes into axle

The Hub and bearing is all in one unit. If you have All Wheel ABS its not a cheap part. The axle u joint is replaceable along with the ball joint.
