Our rear bumpers have a pair of those turds too. DD94, picture an oval piece of flat stock with hex head cut outs and 2 bolts in the hexes. The flat stock is like a built in stationary wrench.

Dodge dude, the bokts ARE welded to the plate. Supposed to be. But they were rusted to the brush guard, so they snapped. ALL I was wondering was if anyone had ideas on replacing it short of welxing a couple bolts to a plate.

If you can get a hand in the hole to access the bolts, can you hold a ratchet/socket/extension combo on the bolt as well?
If not, maybe try finding bolts with "flags" on them.
Other than that, it looks like a plate welded to the head of the bolts if Westin does not carry replacement hardware.

I can barely get my hand in there. I highly doubt I can get a wrench in there. I emailed them asking about hardware. If not, ill figure it out. Get creative.

Can you at least get the plate out? I don't think I'm fully understanding what's going on. lol

Huh. That's funky. And it was inside the frame rail you said?

It was inside of the lower radiator support. Or in that area. I dont remember exactly right now. But yes, it was inside. Ive seen these a million times, just trying to figure out a replacement.
