im gonna get some new shocks here pretty soon but im not sure what i should get. i decided on a gas shock rather than hydraulic but im not sure what brand. i think the rough country's look pretty good, i like the price and they have good reviews. let me know what you think.

I have a few friends with BDS shocks on their HDs' and their only complaint was with freezing so I went with pro comp es9000 since they are nitrogen charged
A little over 8,000 miles on them now and am very pleased

Bilsteins, Pro Comp, and Monroes are the top 3 that I have seen. For lifted trucks go for the first 2.

I've got Monroe's on mine now. Stock length on the rear and 2" longer on the front since I'm leveled. They're a nice shock for the money but even their top-end items are still a "stock replacement" part

I was gonna mention bilstiens but figured since rough country was te budget pick that they'd be a little out of budget

I have the coil over conversion on the rear. They are way better than stock.

I have Rancho shocks, they were about 45-50 a piece. they arent bad, was expecting a better ride then I got but they do the trick. next shock purchase will be either bilstein or pro comp.
