NP231D and NP241D swap

I am attempting a swap on my 01 360 1500 from a 231 to a 241 that I acquired and it will bolt right up to my tranny, same spline count (23) and I can adjust the shifter linkage no problem, my only issue is the front drive shaft. The one I pulled the 241 from was an 04 1500 and I think I heard that that years driveshaft was either too short or had the wrong size U-joint to be able to connect to my front diff. The driveshaft I have currently connects to a 231 front output but not a 241. Anyone have any solutions? Also are the sensors easily swappable between the two?

As long as it's a manual shift 241 the sensors should still be good. I would make sure that the case has a spot for the vacuum switch. You could probably swap the front flanges from between the cases, but I don't understand how the u joints should matter too much, if the flange on the 241 is the same then u joint size shouldn't matter. Assuming the new 241s use a flange and not bearing caps that is.
