You'll love 4.56 gears.......the take off is better the 4x4 is amazing as well. I got em in mine and it helped a lot with the bigger tires on getting power to the ground quicker lol

Just bought her 4x4 sport 5.9 auto 88k I know I know huge flares but for the price I couldn't pass it up. Its super clean 1 owner all new seals heater core, thermostat, water pump, few other preventative things as well.

Well guys new to the forum from Syracuse NY...I picked up my truck about 3 weeks ago...its a 96 1500 5.9 with around 200k miles. I have a **** list of mods already in progress. 20% tint, HIDs, 5 inch suspension lift, Axle swap, 35s, duals, Intake, Towing mirrors, New doors, New rocker panels, cab lights, recon tail lights, new grille and logo...and then fresh paint....black. So far I have removed the rusty old side steps...the toneau cover and replaced it with my toolbox...ordered the lift and lights..now shopping for other parts on the list...pics to come with progress

One week old to me. 96 1500 8 foot bed 4wd 5.2 100% stock. I installed a new radio and speakers, edelbrock 10" air cleaner, ordered a pair of OEM fog lights for it, did a tune up and oil change. Also reconnected the rod in the drivers door so i can unlock it from the outside. Plans for this weekend are to remove the steps on the side, service both axle, service the transfer case. Im sure a few other little repairs as well.

Not really, but that might change, I'm only going to own it for about 6 months before I sell it, moving to hawaii. Its not quite as clean as it looks, the hood and roof have sun damage or paint fading however you want to think of it. I might get it re-painted, although I'm considering plasti dip.

oh and the bed is a disaster, it was just used as a truck is all, I might put in a drop in liner or something.
