My power steering return hose is beyond repair and I'm going to replace it. Any tips on removing? It looks like I just unbolt from the tank and perhaps the same on the rubber end of the hose and then replace with the new hose. Haven't done it before so any info is helpful.

Don't need to replace tank or pump. Thanks in advance.

i don't think you should have any issue unscrewing it from the pump. could probably use a normal wrench there. now the side that bolts to the power steering box might be a bit of a pain and require a line wrench. you may want to pressure wash your power steering box off to may sure dirt don't get where you don't want it.

Thank you...I knew it was a special tool (line wrench) and knowing the name of it makes all the difference

if the hoses are not rusty a normal wrench might do the job but then again if the lines where not rusty you would most likely not be replacing them. a line wrench should not stretch like a normal wrench.
