Lost reverse a couple weeks ago and from searching around figured it was the servo. Well while I was trying to unplug the trans control solenoid harness I cracked the plug. A new one is $64 from Rockauto. Was hoping to finish this today but since it's cracked I'm hesitant to try to use it.

Think I could get away with it like it is?

If you dont mind it being cracked. Zip ties, just plug the thing together and zip tie the **** out of it. Should hold it just fine. My buddies brother drives an early 90s ford tempo, I wanna say 92. half that engine is zip ties and gorilla glue.

Half mine is zip ties :roflsquared:

You should be able to run it temporarily but i would certainly replace it. Instead of paying that much just cut one off a junk yard truck lol

Yeah I think you're okay. Hopefully you could get the extra piece zip tied together. Mine is broken at the screw that holds it in place, be very careful of that

Best to get a new one eventually.

Unlike my bumper, no one even knows. Glad that it runs!
