So, I have this squealing coming from the engine and at first I thought it was my serpentine belt but the squealing only happens when im on the throttle. Would that be the plenum problem that I have or is that indeed the belt?

Its not as high pitch squeal like a belt. Its more of a whistle almost.

Whistle is usually an incorrectly seated air box or one without the little felt gasket.

Get it to start squeaking. Start spraying stuff with WD40. See if anything makes it stop squeaking, and pray it's not a water pump like mine was. It's not fun
