Yesterday while in town I saw a beautiful red SS/T with stock rims and a roll pan go by. IMO, one of the best looking trucks ever....

It was an absolute shame when the gov't put on the cash for clunkers program a few years ago; there were 3 SS/T and one Indy that were scrapped because the owner didn't know what the had, to them it was just another old truck

I'd take a SS/T. I love the Indy500, but I'd 'ruin it' by bagging it etc etc, so why pay extra for the VIN #?

As least you wouldn't "ruin" it by tossing in a blown 408 stroker and taking it down the track running mid 11s.......:pepper:

sorry I havent gotten pics, been busy doing MEPS and getting Air Guard qualified. Just found out that yesterday while I was finishing that up that friend of mine with the ss/t smacked into a trailblazer. Totaled the trailblazer and just a little bit of bumper damage on the ss/t. Her 2nd wreck in the truck, before she had slid and hit a light pole with the drivers side of the bed

There was a lot of nice vehicles that got scrapped because of that cash for clunkers deal. Some of them looked to still be in really good shape to. Kind of a shame really.

Exactly why I talked myself out if selling mine for an ss/t a few years back. I knew I wasnt going to leave my truck stock and had big plans for mine even though I didnt know what they were at the time. I would/would've loved an ss/t but I wasnt willing to cut one up when I already had my truck.
