Currently siding the lower portions of the body of the truck with 120 sand paper and grinder wheel. I'm sure standard safety glasses and those disposable respirators.

I can smell the odor of the clear coat as I sand but not breathing anything in due to the respirator. Am I "safe"? :crazy:

I haven't died yet and was sanding and grinding on 30+ year old paint and bondo with no mask!

If you're using a respirator you're fine. It'll filter out anything that can harm you. Smell doesn't hurt
