Throwing my lift on and wanted to see if I could find a new track bar bolt because mone is rusty...

ANYone have the exact bolt size? Or can I just use 1/2" grade 8 bolt and torque to 130 ft lbs like the manual calls for?

I'd say that's fine, my new bolt is a 1/2" bolt. No exact dimensions, but being an Allen head it's hard getting it torqued that tight.

Yes get rid of that Allen bolt. Get a grade 8 9/16th bolt and nut.

Stock size is 14mm

I am using the 3" track bar bracket and the hole in the bracket for the track bar 1/2". What size bolt fits in the track bar though? 9/16"?

After calling and searching everywhere, I can not find a stainless M14 class 10.9 for the 130 ft lbs torque the track bar calls for

So I ended up getting an M14 class 8.8 and will torque it to around 100 ft lbs and use locktite just for now.

Anyone know where I can find one?

I thought 9/16 was too loose? I was told stainless will not rust out and will give me a higher torque, higher max torque than zinc plated which is my other option.

Do I need to torque the track bar down to the orginal 130 ft lbs or whichever the max torque setting of the bolt is (because its going to be in a new bracket)?
