So am I. Probably going to get the el cheapo Black Magic Professional tint from Pep Boys. One of my friends has used it on a couple trucks and it's lasted a while. Anything is better than my 10 year old purple tint.
Haven't found much damage on the ring/pinion yet.

today I rescued two cars with my ram,
first a 1500 chevy that was out of gas, gave him 2 gallons on gp
then my mothers ford focus decided it was time to seize the idler pulley
cool took the belt off and drove it to her house w/o power steering. That will be my new project for a while. theres not much room under that hood.

on a side note, my dash will be here FRIDAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!:naughty:

Also almost forgot today that before I discovered the above crap my E-brake light stuck on. It disengages but the light stays on. The copper/bronze striker is just worn and doesn't make a good connection. Either gonna bend it a little or get a new one tomorrow.

my light would stick when i first started driving it again, I would just pull the release a time or two more and it would go out.now since being a daily driver again, the problem has cleared up!

So as some of you probably know I have a habit of assuming the worst when something goes wrong on this pig (when my trans started going bad for example). Checked the cap again today and it looked normal. Nothing under it but oil. Probably was just foam or something from being as low as it was. I was probably 2.5qts low.

Haven't had a change to look for that oil leak or swap my LEDs out to put my halogens back.

Also found out today that the Derale pan I ordered the guy didn't receive the shipment he was supposed to and I'm getting my money back.

Good to hear nothing bad has come of it. And I'm pretty sure you've gotten that attitude from me as I'm always assuming the worst and overreacting. :laughing1:

Tonight was the most lovely night to destroy push-in door panel fasteners.

I must be the only one who doesn't have problems with them..
If you buy the tool it's much easier...which is what I'll be doing next time I'm at HF. Stupid ******* wouldn't come out of the door.

If it's clear, you don't have any. lol I have worn out 30% tint....I think I could actually get by with NEW 30% tint, but i want a little bit darker since the driver's side of my truck sits in the sun, so I'm going with 20.

I've never really had problems with mine but they are definitely worn out from being pulled out so many times!! Going to grab some new!!

I tried tint myself once. That lasted less than a year before it came off and my buddy put his food stuff on for me. Cheapo tint is usually just that and will start to turn purple real fast again. Ask me how I know!!

Side window is the cheap tint front window is my buddies good llumar tint. Needless to say from now on I'm just spending the extra to get it done right.

Screw that 20% noise!! Just go all out with the 5%!!!
I'm still debating whether or not I want to do 50% over my whole windshield now! Haha

This stuff my buddy used lasted for more than a year. was still black when he traded the truck.

And 20% is the lowest you can go in my state on the front windows. lol You can have blackouts on the back, they don't care.

Well it might be alright then. The stuff in the pic I posted was less than 1 year old and spent half that year inside in storage!! It's coming off soon and getting the good stuff.

20% is technically what is legal here to but nobody seems to care about darker tint. Just about every other vehicle you pass here has darker than 20%. The only reason I've heard of anyone getting trouble for there tint is if they were acting like an ****** and the cops couldn't nail them for anything else.
