Where Can I Find a 4th Gen Bumper?

Looking to do the conversion from 2nd gen to 4th gen front bumper. Found the brackets no problems but I can't find a 4th gen bumper for the life of me after searching google for hours.

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Why don't you just put an aftermarket heavy duty on it? Or are you looking to keep it OEM looking?

I would like to do aftermarket heavy duty but they are $800 plus and I would need to get some 2500 series coils to support the added weight

Main reason for wanting new is that my oem bumper is faded and chrome looks only ok, and I figure if I'm going to change it I want to go to a bumper that doesn't sit so low

I have not... but I'd like to get rid of the chrome and go black but I don't want to deal with paint chipping/pealing. And my plastics are faded so I woukd need to change those as well

In that case you need to look into business that does powder coating. It's a baked on finish so it shouldn't chip short of a rock hitting the bumper. You can always do spot repair for that.

What area are you in? There's tons of them on Craigslist/in the pick and pulls here in Texas

When I'm looking fo the bumper I'm looking for the 2500 or 3500 all steel bumper correct? Not the 1500's correct?

call the truck accessory companys, a lot of times they sell the take off bumpers.
