Will a rear end from a 1998 Ram 1500 fit a 2001 Ram 1500?

I have a 2001 ram 1500 2WD and the rear end is going.

I found a 1998 in my area for cheap and would like to know if the rear end would fit my 2001.

Any advice?

It will fit, however I think the sensor in the back may be different.
If its too good to pass $100 or below get it and well help you make it work,

Otherwise find one off a 2000 or 2001

94 to 2002 is a bolt in job. Rear abs or speed sensor can be swapped out if needed.
