I would love to lower my 99 sport club cab 1500.
I would like to know if I flip the rear axle would I have to notch the frame.
Just flipping the axle no shackles or anything else other than the flip.
my plan is to lower it and source some newer ram wheels 20" or 22"
I think I am leaning towards the 2 & 4 inch drop in would love to go lower if posspossible.

Thank you,
Alex

You shouldn't need the notch unless you do 5" drop or more.

I have a 2/4.5 drop& will hit the frame sometimes if I am hauling something heavy in the bed, but otherwise there's no issues

Thank you very much hemi Babe.
I will be doing the axle flip as soon as I figure out this engine popping issue I have.

Just a flip you would need a mini bolt in c notch. Like JMC said, you'll hit the frame everywhere. That was the first thing I did too and it slammed every bump I hit. The c notch will help a lot, but if you plan to go any lower you'll need to go to at least a 8''-10'' c notch to save ride quality.
