Hey guys im new here and just wanted to get some info. I have a 1999 1500 with 285/70r17 tires that fit no problem. Im wanting to go with 35X12.50r15's with a 15X8 wheel with 3.75" BS (i think). If not its a 4.00" BS But i can fit a 33X12.50R15 With those wheels factory height with very little rubbing in the back corner. Just wanting to know if the 35's will fit with a 3" suspension lift. Thanks for any info.

Welcome to the forum!
I have a 5" suspension lift on my 99 1500 with 35"s. I have quite a bit of room, the only time they rub is if i hit a bump with the wheel turned just about all the way. You should be able to fit em on a 3" lift, but id prob do 4 or 5 just to be safe. Check out some of my pics and itll give you an idea.

My '97 is just leveled with 35's and mine only rubs on full lock in reverse so you should be good with a 3"

I don't know enough about the 2nd gens, so i will ask this.....will a 15" wheel fit? I ask because I know a 16" wheel will not fit on 3rd gens without some grinding on the calipers.

I would check the rims fit first too.

Thats true, yeah. My buddy has a set of 15" wheels off his old ford and he just recently put them on his 01 dodge 1500, but he said there wasnt enough room for the discs and calipers so he took them off.

Thanks for the info guys. Im really hoping that they will fit with the 3" im sure they will cuz the wheels stay tucked pretty good. when i test fit it with the 33 the wheel cleared the caliper. The wheels are made for classic cars so its got clearance. But if i can get some websites for a 4" lift that would be great. Just ive only found 3 5.5 and 6" lifts. but thanks alot for all the info and im glad to be apart of this forum. Ill be posting more pics after i get the lift and 35's. And do you guys have any suggestions for ground clearance?? That cross member is killin me. Hahaha Thnx again.
