the lift isn't intended for 2nd gens. even if it did fit the suspension geometry is different. if i'm not mistaken the 4th gens have a multi link setup in the rear while 2nd gens have coils up front and leaf springs in the rear.

Different axles, different control arms, different track bars, different pitman arms, different coils, different leaf springs, that's even if the 4th gen kit you have is for leaf sprung trucks. Later model 4th gens are 4 linked in the front and rear.

So.....No.

Rear is 4link, front is radius arms.

Ah, yes. Sorry. Been a while since I've looked at the kits. Forgot they came with radius arms factory. Multiple lift manufactures build 4 link conversions for the front, that's where I got confused.

Edit: 4th gen 1 tons are still rear leaf sprung though. It's always fun trying to figure out what it is when customer's don't know if they bought a 2500 or 3500 and the truck's not at the store for me to look at.

As said you need the correct kit. The suspension is to different.

Some info everyone else may find interesting to do with 4g suspension.

4g 1500 09-15
Front Suspension - IFS
Rear Suspension 4 Link Coils

4g 2500 10-13
Front Suspension - Solid Axle with radius arms
Rear Suspension - Rear Leafs

4g 2500 14-15
Front Suspension - Solid Axle with radius arms
Rear Suspension - 4 Link Coils

4g 3500 10-15
Front Suspension - Solid Axle with radius arms
Rear Suspension - Rear Leafs

I knew they switched to 4 link in the rear, didn't know exactly what year the cutoff was though, thus why I just said later models. Good info though, thanks for clarifying.

Yupp was just in 2014 they did that. I learned quite a bit in my research on 4g's while deciding what to get for myself haha. Anytime :D

But you have a 1/2 ton. Obviously you haven't learned anything :roflsquared:
