a jack, jack stands, socket set, and wrenches. But air tools help too.

Just make sure its all torqued correctly, and then after a bit of driving go back and check them. I went to harbor freight and picked up a torque wrench on sale pretty cheap

My brother put a lift on my brothers cherokee without air tools even (same suspension setup) in about 4 hours. The hardest thing was getting the year shocks off cause they rust to the uni-body and that shouldnt be aproblem with your ram

I replaced my own shocks so I dont think its out of my ability. As far as installing goes do yall think a Body or Suspension would be easier? does a suspension have a better ride than body?

Good question. Body lift keeps the factory ride. Probably would be better than a 3 inch lift ride wise. :birgits_tiredcoffee

makes sense. so on a body lift, how would you go about installing that? I know you have to jack the bed up and install the spacers b/w the frame, how do you lift the cab up? also how do you get the bumpers adjusted?
