Got my 2" body lift in the mail today. Most things in the box are obvious other than these 2 brackets. Any ideas?

I had seen where you eliminated the front bumper lift thing...only thing I can think of is that they're some sort of rear bumper reinforcement brackets.

Looks like brackets for the rear bumper maybe?

No, turns out they are for the outer braces of the front bumper. Believe it or not there are no kits on the market that come with rear bumper brackets. They are a $50-$60 option. Or you could do what i did, just drill new holes in the frame and move the bumper up using the OEM brackets.

Nooooo not at all. Those brackets are way smaller. These are 3/8" thick, they are for the front bumper. The fan shroud brackets are thin stamped brackets much smaller than these are.

Ahh lol good point. Kinda disappointed with this kit. Comes with all grade 5 bolts which replace the OEM grade 8 bolts. Why downgrade?

Not done yet. I went a little crazy with it. Pulled the bed off the frame, cleaned everything up and painted it. It's not a daily driver so im taking my time. Here's a few pictures. Its sitting on a 2" suspension lift in these pictures, body lift not yet installed. Ill be cleaning and painting the under side of the bed also. Just a little surface rust nothing much but i figure now is the time to clean it up and protect it.

I got the 6 pucks installed under the cab, front bumper should be back on and adjusted soon. Ill post up a few pictures once thats done. Every single bolt for the bed and cab came out like they were put in yesterday. Broke them loose and spun them out by hand. Nothing that could have gone wrong, did go wrong. Everything went so smoothly and now the front bumper brackets seem to be made wrong and the bumper does not want to line up. The brackets dont even match one another in terms of the way they are drilled! I had to open holes up on one so i could adjust the bumper up higher, trim the bottom of the other so i could get is lower. I thought this was going to be the easy part!

Thank you. While removing the shift linkage to i can extend it, i found the steel fuel line from the pump to the soft line that runs to the rail is badly rusted and needs to be replaced. Im having a hard time finding one, anyone have any ideas?

Dealer only or wrecker. I believe you can buy the ends and make up a replacement line.
