Looking to pick up a leveling kit for my 2001 1500 4x4. Reading here I see the general consensus to be that Hellbent steel is the best for this. My question is, I see they have a 2" and a 2.5" leveling kit for my truck. Which do I need to make my truck actually sit level? I don't want the front to actually be higher then the rear. I seen one review stated the 2.5" was a little more then level. Wanted to see if that was actually the case from those that have used these here. Thanks!

Best idea would be to measure and see what you need. Go grab a tape measure and measure your fender heights. That will tell you what kit will work better for you. Each truck is a hair different so what may work for one person may not for the next next.

Here's how I have always checked when it came to making vehicles sit level.

Measure center of wheel hub to fender

Put a jack on the frame or bumper and lift the truck up until the hub to fender measures exactly 2" longer than your first measurement

Step back and look at the truck

Jack it up to 2.5"

Look again.

Just want to say-much appreciated to you looking around the forum first. Most people don't and wind up asking the exact same questions over and over.
