My 2001 one owner truck I bought last year, 2 1/2 lift, Flow sound single chamber muffler cat back dual exhaust, Cold air intake, DT Fab track bar, 16x8 wheels. The day I got it, after exhaust/wheels, as it is now.

^^^ I don't make a habit to answer other peoples Q about there truck but he has not responded yet.

This is what is in his sig. I do believe he has a 5" suspension lift (no brand) and a small body lift like 2" I think. Hopefully he will post up soon and fill you in.

Ok thanks. Im just trying to decide on brand of suspension lift to go with (4.5-5.5"). Thanks for replying with as much info as you can. I come from a jeep background so lifting stuff isn't new to me but lifting a 2nd gen ram is. So when it comes the the stupid questions I'm still wanting to ask.. Although the sticky about lifting our trucks is a good one about geometry and such. The dumb questions like is the advertised amount of lift the real amount to expect. Like for example on a jeep anything over 4.5 you start messing with driveline angles and such is it the same with our trucks?? Or is a 4-5.5 ok or do I need to extend my driveshaft exc.. im looking at going 7" total wotg 4-5 suspension. So do you fellas recommend a good kit in the $1000 price range plus or minus a few hundred??

Btw I posted this here since most people reply on this thread rather than other threads

^^^ Thank You

I want to answer your Q but don't want to mess up this thread.

Based on 7" suspension lift, for a grand you will not get a kit but if you shop around and know what you are looking for in parts needed it can be done (short arm).

Longer ds no
Clocking ring yes 7" and over
Long arm's are much better than short
