I've been wanting new shocks but I can't seem to know which one to get by size. The guy I got the truck from says there's a 2.5 inch leveling kit in the front. I took it to a truck shop and they said 2-3 inch lift with add a leaf in the rear. Can someone tell me the right size I would need?
Can a 2 inch lift use a shock for 3 inches, for example? More the merrier perhaps.
Keep in mind this is my first 4x4 ever.

Well you could just google 2.5 to 3 inch lift shocks and you should get some results. I have rough country shocks on my 2.5 inch leveling lift kit and they are decent.

Edit: Go to this link Pro Comp ES3000 Shocks - Best Price on Procomp ES 3000 Truck Shocks - Free Shipping

You can select the sub model on both front and rear shock to give you the length of what you want. Wether its 0-2 inch lift, 2-3 inch lift, etc.
