Looks like it could be just about anything. Does anything not work when you unplug it? I say follow the wire back to the source to find it

I don't think there are really any electrical plugs to the transfer case. That plug seems slightly familiar, but I can't think of anything. I might get under mine tomorrow and take a look.

If there aren't any codes being thrown it may be a leftover plug for an automatic tranny.
