When you remove the lower shock mount and jack up the front of truck it will relieve pressure on the coils and allow for you to pull them out. The sway bar will make this not as simple but unbolt that and the springs come right out.
Happened to me. I'm thinking they were shot , but with coil springs it all works that way.
Depends on how long the lines are when you Jack it up .
