Hey everyone, I got a 1999 Ram 1500 Sport with a 6" lift on it... Got a bad vibration in the front... I went to drive shaft shop already and don't like their options... I've been looking at all different kinds of lifts to see if I can just buy a front driveshaft, can't find anything... Does anyone know where I can get a aftermarket drive shaft that will end my vibrating blues???

When do you feel the vibration? Your front shaft shouldn't be turning at all in 2WD, which is when most people feel vibrations.

Have you jacked the front of the truck up and spun the tires with the drive shaft out?

Check the u-joints on the drive shaft and on the axle. Yeah you're gonna vibrate steering in 4wd. Hows your front pinion angle?

Drive shaft place said its the CV joints, when the front driveshaft is spinning, it's on such a bad angle, that its hitting metal on metal on the CV joints... Guy says if the truck was lowered one more inch it should be fine... He also told me he heard that a triple CV joint is made out there somewhere...

You might need a t-case indexing ring. I believe that corrects the drive shaft angles on the front shaft.

+1, you'll need an indexing ring to correct the angle. Hows your rear angle look??

+3 to using a xcase indexing ring. Make sure you get a kit with the seal adapter.

I will look into the t-case indexing ring... And the rear angle is fine, I guess cause the driveshaft is alot longer than the front.. Thank you all.. I will let you all know what happens...
