So today i finally got around to installing my 2.5" level kit from HBS with extended Rancho Shocks. Everything went good and love the look of it but now i have a popping sound under the floor board going over small bumps. It almost feels like a heart beat thump.

I triple checked every bolt and made sure it was all torqued to specs. And i just put a brand new trackbar on last month. Im trying to isolate where the popping is coming from. Its going to the shop Wednesday for an alignment and i was going to have them see if they can find the popping but if its something i can do and save money that would be better.

Has anyone had this problem?

I have the same sound with my drop. Sounds like its coming from the rear, but I can't find it.

Just got to work still popping but not as much as before. And i did isolate it to the drivers side floorboard. I did notice the bushings on the new shocks are different than the ones i had on before maybe that has something to do with it?

Just had a similar problem. No level kit but new shocks. Like Merc said, lower shock bolts have to be stupid tight. I also cranked more on the uppers, track bar, and the body mounts. I got some out of all of them, so not sure what did it, but it stopped.

Thanks for the advice guys, just a heads up on this. Took it to get aligned yesterday and the popping has went away. No idea what it could have been.
