I have a 2wd 1999 ram 1500 Laramie, I want to level my truck out and maybe put a small lift block in the rear. I was wondering if I could put shock extenders on the front to lift it up???

Shocks do not support the vehicle all they do is control wheel bounce and jounce. So to lift the front of your truck you need coil-spring spacers or new coil-springs.

This, both are good options for what you want to do.

^I'm with those guys. Only reason you'd need extenders is if you're destroying your stock length shocks.

Once you level the truck, doesn't that cause the shocks to extend fully during travel? Therefore you need the extenders to put them back into spec? Usually they don't extend fully.

Vast majority of people just use stock length when leveled. You'll be fine.
